The Andersons
We, Eric, Nicki, Kendall, Autumn, and Dakota Anderson, began our journey when we acquired the original farmhouse and a tract of land that has been in Eric's family since the 1800s. Eric and I exchanged vows in 2010 on this very land where our new farmhouse now stands, constructed in 2019. Since then, we've transformed it into its current state.
Both Eric and I manage full-time jobs away from the farm while raising our three daughters, who are deeply involved in school activities and sports.
To support the farm financially, I started crafting goat milk soap in 2021. It began with a small farmers market in my hometown, offering tropical house plants, quail eggs, and soap. Gradually, I expanded our range of products and have continued to sell them within the local community.
Our farm is home to a variety of animals including numerous goats, chickens, pigeons, barn cats, our cherished LGD Polly, and sometimes a 4H calf. Our passion for animals extends beyond the outdoors; they are an integral part of our lifestyle and hold great significance for us. Indoors, we care for dogs, cats, birds, turtles, a bearded dragon, fish, and even a rat.
Moreover, a passion for tropical houseplants that started over 30 years ago has resulted in a home filled with them! From time to time, I offer plants from my collection for sale.
