Meet Our Herd

The most important purpose our goats serve is to be our loving pets. Their health, happiness, and well-being are our utmost priority. Having our very own source of milk is a bonus.  We invest in quality milking goats and breed them specifically to produce kids with the qualities we believe will make the best back-yard milkers and pets for other families. Genetics specific to milk production are important, but we also take great consideration into personality and cooperativeness of goats. What good is a great milker if they are a total “butt-head” on the milking stand?

All of our goats are 100% Nigerian Dwarf, and either were once registered or could be. However, we choose not to maintain registrations. This allows us to sell quality goats at a lower cost than other farms who focus on registered goats. All of our does and bucks are housed right here on our farm so you can see exactly where kids genetics come from. We keep polled does and bucks so all of our goat kids have a 50% chance of being polled. Goat kids who are not polled are disbudded within the first week. Our goats are bred once a year and we will have goats available each spring.

We handle our goat kids from the moment we meet them to encourage them to be trusting and social. We get them use to being on the stand, getting their hooves trimmed, taking meds and supplements, and getting shots.
